typogento is an extension to integrate a magento-installation into a TYPO3-installation. Typogento-Website

Success of this integration is that the user has for both solutions only one website.

• Passwords need only one time being entered.
• Links are handled by typogento by rendering them in the same kind.
  Menus inside TYPO3 can consist of dynamic Links to the shop.

So without a specialized TYPO3-shop-solution magento is getting part of the website.

The structural aspect is done by moving the magento-main-folder into the web-folder - normally the TYPO3-main-folder. This path has to be inserted inside the typogento-extension and this will translate Links and handle accounts.

Regrettable typogento isn't yet stable and a lot of problems may occure especially when links shall be rendered by realURL or cooluri for nicer URLs.
